This has allowed them to collaborate with some of Australia’s leading architects. They have been awarded a number of new projects and need additional support within their team.

About the Position

Reporting to the project manager will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Drafting/Writing scope of works.
  • Forecasting and cost tracking the financial expenditure.
  • Making sure contract documentation is kept up to date throughout the project, tracking changes, revisions, and amendments to contracts.
  • Serve as a liaison between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, subcontractors, and legal teams. Facilitate regular meetings to discuss contract-related matters and project progress. Provide clear and timely communication regarding contract changes and updates.
  • Contract Compliance- Enforce contract compliance by all parties involved.
  • Letting Subcontracts/ Assisting in the preparation of subcontract packages.
  • Procuring materials for the project.
  • Provide support to the project management team.

Required Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Contract Administrator within the construction sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, business, or related field.
  • Proven experience working on commercial projects between $15mil - $40mil.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts and legal requirements within the Australian construction industry.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software.
